Biography

Reminiscent of psych rock, black metal and traditional Celtic music, Stangala’s tunes are set to take you for a very special trip through hazy worlds inhabited by mystical creatures from the Breton folklore. Born in Kemper in 2007, the band released a first grimoire, “Boued Tousek Hag Traou Mat All”, with Solitude Productions in 2011, followed by the psyched-up split album “Kreiz-Breizh Sessions“ with fellow druids Stonebirds in 2012. Four years later, the duo sets the scene for “Klañv” (mixed By Dan Swanö, Opeth, Theatre of Tragedy), a dark, enraged and wildly original musical statement to be released with Finisterian Dead End in March 2016.
